Thursday 7th Nov Part 1

Hello Everyone,

I have arrived in Paris! As you'd expect, when we got to the hotel after 32 hours of travelling I was pretty tired, so I'm sorry for not posting anything sooner. We arrived two nights ago and spent yesterday trying to recover from jetlag. Today, though, we were all energised and ready to go sight seeing!

We got a shuttle-car and had a mini tour around Paris with a really nice man called Yann. We got to drive along the main streets and see the major shops like Luis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co, and one of the best bakerys in the city. As we were driving, we saw people preparing for a Christmas fair that went along the road for at least 8 kilometres. Unfortunately, we are going to miss the opening buy only five days. :(

We got the driver to drop us off at the Tuilerise Gardens (like Paris's Hamilton Gardens but much bigger.) Guess what?! There was a little French library! ;) We walked through the garden until we reached the steps of the Louvre Museum.
