Thursday 7th Nov Part 2

We got to the stairs of the Louvre Museum. Now, a little background information. The Louvre Museum is an art museum. It holds some of the most prized pieces of art, including the Mona Lisa.
In the outside exhibits there are lots of old statues of Greek gods and stuff like that. Alot of them were like half naked and stuff, and my sister was looking at them, disgusted. That explains her lovely facial expression.

Inside the museum we found these pieces of amazing artwork:

Easter Island Head

This crazy sculpture was made by Hawaiian locals to protect the royal family. Don't worry, those teeth are dog teeth, not human

The following pieces of art are by Giovanni Paolo Panini. Look at the amazing detail!

The Gallery

My sister and I by a massive oil painting by the famous painter Guido Reni

Last but not least, the famous Mona Lisa.

We then took the Metro home, to our hotel room :)
